SPOKANE, Wash. – Competing as an individual, Gonzaga women's golfer Taylor Mularski claimed medalist honors at the Tri-State Invitational hosted by Eastern Washington at Qualchan Golf Course.
 
Mularski, one of three Zags that participated in the tournament as individuals, placed first at one-over (145). It was a two-round 36-hole event. She opened with a 73 (+1), before carding a 72 (E) Monday.
 
Darby Rickel was fifth at four-over (148). She carded a tournament-low 70 (-2) in Round 1. Vanessa Zhang was 10-over (154) in 20^th place.
 
Gonzaga has off until Oct. 21 for the three-day Rainbow Wahine Invitational in Kapolei, Hawaii. Live scoring will be available on GoZags.com.
