WBB Reveals the 2024-25 Non-Conference Schedule

The Zags will open the season with an exhibition game on Nov. 1

SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's head basketball coach Lisa Fortier announced her team's non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

The non-conference slate includes eight teams that finished in the top 100 in the NET last year and four of them made the NCAA Tournament. The first game in The Kennel will be on Nov. 1, for the lone exhibition game, against College of Idaho, as the Bulldogs are set to host five other non-conference games in McCarthey Athletic Center.

After hosting the exhibition game, the Bulldogs welcome Montana on Tuesday, Nov. 5. The Zags defeated the Griz in Missoula last year, 83-70. Afterwards, GU travels to Stanford on Nov. 10. In their match up last year, GU defeated the Cardinal at home for its highest ranked win in program history, 96-78.

The Zags return home to take on Cal on Nov. 14, followed by Wyoming (Nov. 17) and Rice (Nov. 21). The Bulldogs faced all three teams last year and won all of them. This marks the second-straight year that GU has played Cal and Rice while they have faced the Cowgirls five-straight seasons now.

Gonzaga will then travel to New Mexico to play the Lobos for the second-straight season on Nov. 24. Last year, GU defeated New Mexico in McCarthey, 67-56.

For the Thanksgiving tournament this year, the Bulldogs head to paradise to play three games in the Virgin Islands for the Paradise Jam. The first game is versus Missouri State on Nov. 28, followed by Texas Tech and Florida State.

Gonzaga has faced Missouri State four times and has won the last three with the most recent one being in 2019 at Spokane. The last time the Bulldogs took on Florida State was also at the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas in 2017 and it will be the first game in program history against Texas Tech.

GU travels to Colorado State for one more road non-conference game on Dec. 7 at Colorado State before returning home to host the Eastern Washington Eagles on Dec. 14, who are coming off their Big Sky Championship season.

Game times and television information will be released in the near future.

Season tickets are available now at GoZags.com/tickets. Single game tickets will go on sale at a later date. Fans, family and supporters can follow the Bulldogs on the women's basketball social media pages on Facebook at ZagWBB, along with Twitter and Instagram, @ZagWBB.
