SAN BRUNO, Calif.- Sjakkie Donkers was recognized as a First Team All-Conference selection by WCC on Monday afternoon.
Donkers led the entire WCC in kills per set, averaging 4.04 kills per each frame. Donkers was the only player in the conference averaging over four kills per game, ranking 55th in all of Division 1 in the stat. She also led the WCC in points per set with 4.5, ranking 70th nationally.
Donkers had a historic season for the Zags, putting up the second most kills in a single GU match this century when she scored 30 against Portland on November 8th. Donkers finished the season with 438 kills, the fourth most by a Zag in the rally scoring era.
