SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga women's basketball team outrebounded LMU by 24 to secure its 13th-straight win as the Zags defeated the Lions, 69-57.
Yvonne Ejim was the leading scorer for GU with 16 points and six rebounds.
Allie Turner also scored 14 and grabbed seven rebounds herself.
Maud Huijbens rounded out the double figure scoring effort with 12 points.
Esther Little led the team in rebounding with 11.
The Zags went on a 7-0 run in the second quarter to take a 22-19 lead. A three-point play from
Bree Salenbien lifted GU to a 25-21 lead going into halftime.
Turner and Ejim led the Bulldogs in scoring with six points each at the half. Little grabbed a team-high eight rebounds as the team outrebounded the Lions, 26-17.
Gonzaga outscored LMU in the third quarter to extend its lead, 46-40, at the end of the third. Turner led the Bulldogs in the scoring effort as GU shot 53.3% from the floor. The Zags also only allowed four rebounds from LMU in the frame and GU grabbed 13.
Midway through the fourth quarter, Gonzaga went on a 12-2 run. LMU was forced to take a time out after Inês Bettencourt drained a three-pointer, followed by a steal and an easy lay-up from Ejim. GU took the 60-44 lead with just over five minutes remaining and never gave up the edge.
The Bulldogs shot at 50% in the fourth quarter to close out the win. McKynnlie Dalan was the leading scorer in the final frame as she scored seven.
Overall, Gonzaga had a dominant rebounding performance by outrebounding the Lions, 51-27. Little led the team with 11 boards and everyone who entered the game grabbed at least one rebound.

- Ejim has scored double digits in 69-straight games. She led the team today with 16 points with none coming from free throws.
- The Zags are now on a 13-game winning streak.
- Gonzaga has won 35-straight against LMU.
- With four threes today, Turner is now tied for seventh in 3-point field goals made in a single season with 77.
