SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga men and women's track raced for the second consecutive day at the Riverfront Invitational, concluding their penultimate weekend of their indoor season at The Podium on Saturday.
The first program list to be altered on Saturday came in the women's 400-meters, where
Presley Smith and
Greta Dani each moved up the Top Ten. Smith's 1:01.08 matches Morgan Greene at No. 4 all time, while Dani's 1:01.45 marks her first entry at No. 7.
In the 600m,
Ellie Armbruster improved her own record with a 1:32.61 finish, placing second overall in the event. Then,
Ashlinn Aguayo placed ninth overall with a time of 1:39.69 to move into sixth all time at Gonzaga.
The final events of the weekend were the 3000-meters, where Zag runners on both the men's and women's teams earned podium placements.
Anna Grabowski improved her indoor PR with a 9:41.06, second-place finish before
Brenden Charbeneau won the men's 3000m with an 8:22.24 to improve his PR by 13 seconds.

Gonzaga will conclude their 2024-2025 indoor track season Feb. 14-15 when they each split squads at the Whitworth Invitational inside The Podium and the Husky Classic at Dempsey Indoor in Seattle. The weekend will act as the Bulldogs' final chance to crack the Top 16 nationally and earn the first-ever Gonzaga bid to the Indoor Track & Field Championships.
