Men's Rowing to Compete at IRA National Championships Starting on Friday

The first heat of races begin on Friday, May 30

The Gonzaga men's rowing team is set to compete in the IRA National Championships from May 30 to June 1 at Cooper River in Camden, NJ.

The first race will begin at 5:16 a.m. Pacific Time on Friday, May 30, when the Varsity 8 boat races in the second heat against Columbia, Northeastern, Washington, Stanford and Georgetown.

The next race for the Zags will be the 2V8 boat at 6:04 a.m. Pacific Time. The crew will race against Navy, Stanford, California, Yale and Temple.

In both races, the top 3 will advance to the A/B Semifinals on Saturday while the rest advance to the C/D Semifinals.

Live results can be found HERE for all three days of racing. The regatta will be livestreamed on Overnght, although a subscription is required to watch it. At the end of racing each day, a panel will be hosting a live post-race show that will be posted in front of the paywall on Overnght later in the day.
