Machu named Second Team All-American with 11th place finish in 10k

Eugene, Ore.- Rosina Machu has secured All-American honors in the 10,000 meters for the third straight year after finishing in 11th place at the NCAA Outdoor Track Championships. 

Rosina Machu finished with a time of 32:26.18, her best time of the season in the 10k. She ran with the front group for the majority of the race, finishing within a half of a second of the top ten. Machu was a first team All-American in the 2025 10k Championship, repeating as a second team All-American this year after earning the honor in her debut in the championship in 2024. She is the only woman in the NCAA Outdoor Track Championship field to have ran in the 10k Final each of the past three years. 

Rosina Machu will run in the finals of the 5,000 meters at 6:55 pm on Saturday. The 5k final will be the final race in Machu's record breaking Bulldog running career as she concludes her senior year. The race will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2 on Saturday.
