2018: Appeared in 26 games this season for the Zags, finishing with a 3-3 overall record…in 48.2 innings pitched, the right-handed pitcher struck out 52 batters and only allowed seven walks…recorded a 2.77 ERA on the season with three wins and three losses…tallied up a school-record 13 saves for the Zags to lead the WCC…was named to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year watch list…earned All-WCC First Team honors…
2017: Made 13 appearances as a freshman, starting seven times...1-4 record, 5.46 ERA in 57.2 innings of work...36/16 strikeout/walk ratio...started collegiate debut Feb. 26 at UCLA, pitching 6.0 innings and striking out two while allowing five runs...pitched scoreless inning in relief March 18 versus Pacific to begin four-game, 18-inning stretch of allowing just three runs and striking out 17, and walking two...earned starting nod March 22 versus Washington, allowing one run and striking out six in six innings...fanned career-high eight in seven innings of one-run ball April 2 at Pepperdine...earned first career win May 14 after 3.0 innings of relief against Loyola Marymount...four shutout innings against BYU May 19...two scoreless frames versus Saint Mary's May 25 in WCC Championships opener.
Basha High School: Four-year player the Bears, pitching and spending time both in the outfield and at first base...as a junior, struck out a school-record 72 batters while hitting .345 with five home runs...led the team in OPS, slugging, and extra-base hits...hit .443 with 35 hits and seven home runs as a senior...named Team MVP, First Team All-District and First Team All-Section at DH, and Team Offensive MVP...earned Student of the Month honors during sophomore year.
Club Experience: Played club ball with Garciaparra Baseball Group out of Orange County, California...played for the Brewers' Underclass Area Code Team in 2014 and the Reds' Upperclass Area Code Team in 2016...named 2016 Perfect Game All-American Honorable Mention and First Team All-West Region...made 17u Perfect Game World Series All-Tournament Team, and PG Evoshield Upperclass and Underclass All-Tournament Teams.
Personal: Father is Gary...has three siblings: Hannah, Luke, and Jake... father played in the major leagues with the Dodgers and the Tigers...majoring in sports management with a minor in public relations...wants to play professional baseball after graduation...chose Gonzaga "because it felt like home to me. Also, a big reason why I chose to come here is because of the coaching staff. They are a good group of guys and really good at their jobs. A big part of my college decision and most important to me is the education aspect, and Gonzaga is an amazing school."
