- All-West Coast Conference Freshman and Honorable Mention... appeared in 43 games with 34 starts... batted .286 with 38 hits, 14 runs batted in and one home run... finished third on the team in batting average, on base percentage (.385), runs scored (28), and walks (19)... recorded a season-high three hits on four different occasions, including a 3-for-4, three RBI, one run game on Apr. 5 against Santa Clara.

- While at Peninsula, Knowles twice earned All-State and All-Area honors. He was also named South Sound Conference MVP during his time there. A mutlisport athlete in football and baseball, Knowles was a four-year letterman in both sports.
