2014: Made just two appearances on the mound before losing the season due to injury…started one game, earning the nod Feb. 15 versus Nebraska...also pitched one inning at UC Riverside March 11...received extra year of eligibility due to medical hardship.
2013: Two-way player… made 20 starts in the field… 26 total appearances… made 10 starts at first base… went 16-for-65 for a .246 batting average… drove in eight runs… had four multiple hit games… recorded two hits against UC Riverside (Feb. 15), Utah Valley (Feb. 17), UNLV (Feb. 22) and Hawai’I (Mar. 8)… recorded three multiple RBI games with a career-high 3 RBI against UC Riverside (Feb. 15)… carried a 0-3 record and a 4.80 ERA on the mound… made 11 appearances including three starts… pitched 30 innings.. allowed 27 hits, 18 runs and 16 earned runs… struck out 22 while walking 15… pitched a season-high 5.2 inning and struck out six batters against Brown (Mar. 26)… had two hitless relieve appearances against Santa Clara (May 4) and Cal (May 20).
2012: Made 22 relief appearances with 2 starts. . . team-high 5 saves. . . Went 2-4 with 3.32 ERA. . . Allowed 18 runs, 14 earned in 38 innings. . . Walked 23, struck out 25. . . Debut and first save vs. Nebraska (2/17/12). . . Did not allow a run in 14 of 22 appearances. . .First win at Washington (4/10/12) in 4 innings of work. . .Career-high 7 innings pitched at Washington State (5/22/12).
Redmond High School: Played first base and pitched for three years at Redmond…2011 KingCo 4A Player of the Year…also First Team All-State and Washington Coaches Association State Co-Player of the Year…Seattle Time All-Area Team…posted 1.04 ERA in 34 innings and hit .409 with 10 home runs and 40 RBIS in senior year…First Team All-KingCo as a junior after going 7-0 with a 1.23 ERA in 51 innings and hitting .405 with 23 RBI.
Club Experience: Played club ball for Chaffey Baseball in Seattle…allowed just three earned runs in 55 innings as a senior.
Personal: Son of Marie and Russell…has one brother named Alex…majoring in finance…career goal is to win a national championship and to play in Major League Baseball…chose Gonzaga due to the top-notch education offered as well as the family feel of the baseball program.
