High School: Attended St. Francis Xavier High in the Canadian city of Edmonton, Alberta, where he played defense for coach Frank Saporito...helped lead team to a 15-1 record, first place in the conference, and a second place finish in provincials...team captain in basketball and also played football.

FRESHMAN (2007): Attended North Idaho College in Coeur d[apos]Alene and played for coach Scott Moorcroft...selected All-Region 18...voted Co-Defensive Player of Year for NIC...also scored a pair of goals for Scenic West Athletic Conference champions...advanced to West District Finals, falling 4-2 to Yavapai for right to advance to National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national tournament.

SOPHOMORE (2008): Transferred to Gonzaga University and was immediately eligible under NCAA transfer rules, seeing action in five matches with lone start in season-finale at Saint Mary[apos]s. JUNIOR (2009): Appeared in five matches with one start coming in regular-season finale at San Diego.
