Biography

High School: Attended Silver Creek High, lettering four years for coach Chris Squires...two-time All-Northern Conference selection as junior and senior after being second team as sophomore...two-time Daily Times-Call All-Area first team in 2004 and [apos]05...team MVP as senior after leading team with 12 goals and adding 5 assists...played for Colorado State Team in Region IV ODP camp from 2002-04...scored match-winning goal in regional semifinal game against Southern California in 2003.

FRESHMAN (2006): Attended University of Portland and appeared in one match as a reserve.

SOPHOMORE (2007): Attended University of Portland and appeared in home matches against Gonzaga and San Diego for his only two appearances of the season...transferred to Gonzaga for the spring season.

JUNIOR (2008): Immediately eligible at Gonzaga according to NCAA transfer rules and started all 19 matches...first point in Gonzaga uniform was assist in 1-0 victory at home against CS Bakersfield in Gonzaga/Nike Soccer Classic as Gonzaga captured title...only other point was assist in 4-1 home victory over San Diego.

JUNIOR (2009): One of six players to start all 19 matches...14 shots, 7 on goal...one of keys to Gonzaga defense from his midfielder position. Misc.: Grandfather Fred Yaklich played football for Colorado.
