PRIOR TO GONZAGA: The native of Beaverton, Ore., native helped guide Jesuit High School to the 2018 state title and the 2019 Metro League title. He was second team All-Metro League, and the team captain as a senior. At Jesuit he scored eight goals and recorded 23 assists. Braun was on the school's honor roll for all four years, and was a member of the National Honors Society. He boasted a 3.72 GPA. Braun, a 5-10 135-pound incoming freshman, intends to be a Business administration major at GU. His sister, Sophia, is an All-West Coast Conference standout on the Zags' women's soccer team. Nico led the Eastside Timbers club team to a State finalist finish in 2018, the 2019 Northwest Regional title, and another state finalist finish in 2020.
