STANFORD, Calif. — Gonzaga men's tennis moved on at the ITA Northwest Regional on Friday in Stanford, Calif., with two doubles teams and two singles players making it through in the main draw.

Senior
Sam Feit, seeded fifth in the singles field, won his first match 6-1, 6-1 over Abdulaziz AlBayouk from Sac State before defeating Pacific's John Horoz Gamer in three sets, 6-2, 6-7(7), 6-2 to advance to the Round of 32 on Saturday.
A trio of freshman in
Eric Hadigian,
Matthew Hollingworth and
Oliver Andersson earned victories on the day with one advancing to the Round of 32 in the 128-player field. Andersson took down each of his first two opponents in straight sets, defeating Seattle's Alex Chan, 6-4, 6-3, and Santa Clara's Nick Cmager, 6-4, 6-4.
Hollingworth defeated Washington's Stevie Gould 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, and Hadigian cruised past UC Davis' Andrei Volgin 6-1, 6-2 in his first-round match, but each came up short in the second round.
In doubles, Feit and Hollingworth were seeded ninth and blanked their opponents from Seattle 8-0, while the GU duo of
Brandon Park and
Vincent Rettke won 8-5 over Pacific to move on. Round of 32 action in doubles will begin Saturday morning.
