Malibu, Calif. - The Gonzaga women's tennis team fell 7-0 to the Pepperdine Waves on Saturday afternoon in the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center in Malibu, Calif.
 
In doubles play, Hannah Jones and Taylor Gruber battled their matchup from Pepperdine, but ultimately fell 6-4 on Court 1. Kate Ketels and Haruna Tsuruta were defeated in their matchup, falling 6-1 at No. 2, while Kianna Oda and Cate Broerman were tied 5-5 before the match went unfinished.
 
In the singles matches, the Waves got things going early with a 6-1, 6-3 defeat of Kate Ketels at No. 1, while Adrianna Sosnowska went head-to-head with 21st ranked Jessica Failla of Pepperdine, but fell 6-1, 6-0.  Broerman, Tsuruta, and Jenna Sloan all fell in their respective matches.
