SNAKE RIVER, Wash., - The Gonzaga men's rowing team traveled to compete on the road against Washington State University in the Fawley Cup and swept the day, taking first in all four races.

"I was really pleased how we raced today especially in tough headwind conditions," head coach
Dan Gehn said. "We didn't let the water bother us and took care of business."

In the 1V8 race, the Zags took first with a time of 6:48.0 while WSU followed, taking second with a time of 6:58.5.

The Zags took first in the 2V8 with a time of 7:03.0 and WSU took second at 7:44.8.
Â
Gonzaga's 3V8 crew, who are ranked No. 23 in the nation took first at 7:32.9 while WSU took second at 8:13.8.

The Zags N8 boat wrapped up the day taking first at 7:28.5 and WSU came in at second at 7:34.0.
