SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga men's track returned to action on Saturday, racing at The Podium for the first time in 2025 at the Spokane Indoor Challenge. In total, ten attached Bulldog harriers took to the rubber for the first time since December, where four earned personal best times.
Tommy O'Neil and
James Powers were the lone Zags to run attached in the mile. O'Neil placed 11th in his first mile of the season, finishing in 4:23.14 while Powers ran a season-best time of 4:54.46.
The remaining eight Bulldogs took on the 3000-meter event in two heats.
Ryan Mitchell led all attached runners for Gonzaga with a second-place, 8:15.83 finish.
Samy Anderson placed fourth in 8:20.93 and
Caleb Richardson placed 13th in 8:36.46 as they each cracked the Top 15.

The Gonzaga men and women will take a week off before another busy weekend Jan. 31 – Feb. 1. The men will send six more runners to Dempsey Indoor for the UW Invitational, while both squads race at the Inland Northwest Invitational, hosted by Whitworth at The Podium.
