CORVALLIS, Ore. – Gonzaga men's track concluded their weekend trip to Oregon, racing in the Pac-12 Open on Saturday at the Whyte Track & Field Center. The Zag men's regular season comes to a close as they wait to see who will be competing at the NCAA West Preliminaries May 28-31.
The 1500-meters opened the afternoon for Gonzaga on Saturday, with
Logan Law placing second in 3:50.37 to lead the charge.
Mason Kissell (3:51.02) placed fourth,
Cooper Laird (3:53.49) placed sixth,
Drew Kolodge (3:57.74) placed ninth, and
Sean Janecko (4:02.43) placed 11th to round out the list of attached runners for GU.
Tommy O'Neil was the lone Zag in the 800m, placing eighth overall in a time of 1:59.76.
In the 5000-meters,
Caleb Richardson (Second, 15:06.38),
Sawyer Clarkson (Third, 15:13.60), and
Luke Alfonso (Fourth, 15:17.68) finished in succession in the top five.
The 10,000m was the final event for the Bulldogs on Saturday, as six attached runners competed.
Samy Anderson (29:49.63) earned the win ahead of
Ryan Mitchell (29:58.87) and
Joshua Augustine (30:11.12), who finished on the podium behind Anderson.
Aidan Baughan finished fourth in 31:13.61 to round out the night.
UP NEXT
The final meet of the 2025 regular season for the Bulldogs will be the West Coast Last Chance meet in San Francisco, Calif., May 17. The Zag women will get one last opportunity to earn qualifying times before the deadline May 18.
