Biography

2018: Started and played in all 57 games for the Zags in his final season…the shortstop had the second-highest batting average on the team with a .306…recorded 68 hits on the season and scored 33 times for the Zags…led the team with 40 RBIs on the season…had a 17-game hitting streak during the season tallying up 25 total hits during that span…finished with 71 putouts with 131 assists…drafted in the 28th round of the MLB draft to the Miami Marlins.

2017: Started all 53 games at short during first year at Gonzaga...hit .229 with 43 hits, 24 runs, 16 RBIs...drew 14 walks for .298 on-base percentage...146 assists, 90 putouts for .967 fielding percentage...opened GU career with two hits, one run versus Duke Feb. 17...two hits, two runs March 4 during game one at California...season-high three base knocks March 11 at Cal State Fullerton, scoring one run...season-long six-game hit streak March 18-March 25...eight hits, four runs, two RBIs in series at Santa Clara April 13-15, including two three-hit games...two runs, two RBIs on two hits -- one a double -- April 21 at Portland...two hits, two runs May 25 at Saint Mary's during WCC Championships opener.

Pierce College: Two-time Gold Glove shortstop for the Raiders...led the team with 38 runs and 35 RBIs as a freshman...hit .371 with 69 hits and 45 runs as a sophomore...graduated with an associates of arts degree.

Thomas Jefferson High School: Played baseball all four years...helped the Raiders reach the playoffs for the first time in school history as a senior...earned Gold Glove in 2014 and hit .400...was a member of the National Honor Society.

Club Experience: Played club ball for Rock Creek 18u Select out of Seattle...went 46-9 with two league championships...helped Rock Creek never lose two consecutive games while stealing 147 bases as a team.

Personal: Parents are Victoria and Timothy...has a brother named Garrett...majoring in sports management and would like to be a professional baseball player and own a business after graduation...chose Gonzaga because "the opportunity to be successful at whatever I want to do is all around me.
