Feddersen, Dojcak Post Wins At ITA

SEATTLE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University men's tennis team continued play at the Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northwest Regional Saturday. The event is being hosted by the University of Washington in Seattle.

Roman Dojcak highlighted the Zags efforts Saturday by posting a victory in the singles consolation opening round. Dojcak advanced to the round of 32 thanks to straight-set (6-3, 6-3) victory over Stanford University's Jeff Zeller. Dojcak went on to drop a 6-4, 6-4 decision to Sacramento State University's Sven-David Ruett in the round of 32.

Stefan Feddersen also posted a singles consolation bracket victory. Feddersen, who earned a bye in the opening round, posted a 6-2, 6-2 win over Benjamin David of the University of Nevada.

Cooper Fratt also competed in the singles conslation bracket, falling in his respective match, a 7-5, 6-1 decision to University of Portland's Dillon Pottish in the round of 64.

In doubles play, Dojcak and Feddersen fell 8-2 to Washington's Fischer and Obenaus.

The Zags will wrap-up the fall season Sunday as the event continues.
