STOCKTON, Calif. - The Gonzaga University men's tennis team suffered a 5-2 loss to the University of the Pacific Friday evening. Zhia Hwa Chong picked up his team-leading 16th singles win of the season.
Chong defeated Angus Thomson 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4 singles. Levin Guillermo played to a three-set match at the No. 1 spot. He won the first set 7-5 but his opponent Tomasz Krzyszkowski won the next two sets 7-5, 6-3.
The Bulldogs (5-14) won at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles by default.
Gonzaga head down the road to play UC Davis Saturday at noon.
