SEATTLE – The Gonzaga men's tennis team continued play at the ITA Northwest Regionals Friday afternoon, and both junior

Ruadhan O'Sullivan advanced in the main singles and doubles draws at the Nordstrom Tennis Center in Seattle.
"Overall today showed that we are moving in the right direction," head men's tennis coach
Jonas Piibor said. "Sam and Ruadhan had a good day, winning their doubles match against a solid California team, and then they both won two singles matches against great opponents. Ruadhan came back from a big deficit in the second set, saving match point against his Stanford opponent.
Feit and O'Sullivan paired up to defeat California's Jack Molloy and Jackson Suh 8-5 Friday morning to advance to the quarterfinals of the ITA Northwest Regional. Last season,
Feit and O'Sullivan put together a historical doubles run at the ITA Northwest Regional as they advanced to the semifinals in doubles play.

Everly, who also advanced to the Round of 16 in doubles play, fell to Washington's Jack Davis and Piers Foley 8-3 Friday morning.
In singles play, Feit and O'Sullivan both advanced to the round of 16. Feit defeated Sacramento State's Dom Miller 6-2, 6-2 to advance to the round of 32 and followed it up with a 7-5, 6-2 in over Washington's Enzo Sommer to continue on to the round of 16. O'Sullivan also advanced to the round of 32 with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Santa Clara's Connor Garnett and continued on to the round of 16 with 4-6, 7-5, 6-4 win over Michael Genender.
"Ruadhan certainly shows his big heart, and he fights so hard for every point which is something we can all learn from," Piibor said.
Both Feith and O'Sullivan continue play Saturday at 1:30 p.m.; Feit will face Stanford's William Genesen while O'Sullivan will take on Oregon's Emmanuel Coste.
