TULSA, Okla. – Gonzaga men's tennis battled through three pre-qualifying matches at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but ran into tough competition.
Gonzaga's
Oliver Andersson,
Vincent Rettke and
Eric Hadigian each competed in the pre-qualifying round on Saturday, but each fell short in their opening matches and will move to consolation play on Sunday.
Hadigian battled Karol Paluch from Rice, pushing him in each set of a 7-5, 7-6(4) loss, while Andersson fell to Christiaan Worst from Vanderbilt and Rettke to Enrique Paya of Arkansas, both in straight sets.
Consolation play will begin at 7 a.m. PT/9 a.m. CT in Tulsa on Sunday. Check GoZags.com for links to live coverage.
