Katie Day each won a singles match on the final day of action at the Cougar Classic in Pullman, Wash.
"This weekend was another opportunity to get more match experience, and we are headed in the right direction," assistant coach

Tamara Anderson slated to face off in the consolation final of the Crimson Flight, GU elected to play extra singles matches against other opponents. Tsuruta took a 6-0, 6-4 win over Gabrielle Dekkers of Utah State, while Anderson defeated Lucy Octave from Utah State 6-2, 6-3.
Katie Day also took a win in singles when Montana's Claudia Reguant retired with Day up 3-0 in the first set.
