- Gonzaga returns to the Stevens Center after going 1-2 in three road matches last week, defeating Navy 4-0 on a neutral court.
- Gonzaga is 4-1 at home this season, with its only loss coming to then-No. 27 San Diego.
- BYU enters ranked No. 31 nationally and is 3-0 in league play after defeating Saint Mary's and Pacific last week.
- In its last home match, GU fell to No. 27 San Diego, 4-2. The Zags pushed the Toreros to the end, taking the first set in four of the singles matches and leading a doubles match when it went unfinished.
- In the first three matches of the homestand, Gonzaga had three straight 7-0 sweeps with a win over Idaho on Tuesday and a pair of 7-0 sweeps over Seattle U in a doubleheader the previous Saturday.
- The win over Idaho marked Gonzaga's second four-match win streak of the season. GU opened with four straight wins, and now has bounced back from a pair of losses to win four more in a row.

Ruadhan O'Sullivan is 9-2 in dual match play and 18-4 on the season. The duo is coming off a win over UW's No. 41-ranked doubles team at the top spot in the lineup.

Ruadhan O'Sullivan has also been steady at the top of the lineup, going 8-5 in the top two spots. He's 18-7 overall on the season, the team's highest singles win total.

Sam Feit is 10-3 in dual-match play this season, splitting his time at No. 1 and No. 2 in the singles lineup. He's 17-6 overall on the year.
