STANFORD, Calif. -- Earlier today, Gonzaga continued their participation in the second day of the ITA Super Regionals. This is the second consecutive year the Zags have performed in the ITA Super Regionals.
Today's action opened with the doubles Main Draw Round of 16, as Gonzaga's Sasha Trkulja and Matthew Hollingworth earning an excellent 8-6 win over Stanford's Filip Kolasinski and Neel Rajesh. In their Quarterfinals match, Hollingworth and Trkulja battled, but lost 8-7 in competitive fashion to University of California—Berkeley's Carl Emil Overbeck and Ryder Jackson.
Facing the No. 1Â overall seed of the doubles Main Draw, Gonzaga's Leon Roider and Oliver Andersson battled, but fell to Oregon's Quinn Vandecasteele and Joshua Charlton by a score of 8-5. In their Qualifying Quarterfinals match of the Consolation bracket, Roider and Andersson clinched a 8-6 victory over Stanford's Anders Matta and Isaac Gorelik to close out the day.

Today's action closes the Gonzaga men's tennis team's participation in the ITA Super Regionals. The Zags now look forward to closing out their fall tournament schedule at home, as the Gonzaga Invitational will be hosted at the Stevens Center from November 4th through the 6th.
