TULSA, Okla. -- Earlier this afternoon, the Gonzaga men's tennis team finished their performance in the ITA All-American Championships. The Zags only have a one-day break before they participate in the ITA North Regionals tournament.
Starting the day in the Qualifying Draw, Gonzaga's Arthus de la Bassetiere fought hard, but dropped a close match against University of Southern California's Lodewijk Weststrate by a score of 3-6, 6-1, 6-3. This was Bassetiere's first loss in any fall tournament this fall season.
Closing Gonzaga's participation in the tournament, Sasha Trkulja was defeated by University of Oklahoma's Baptiste Anselmo 6-0, 6-4. So far this season, Trkulja now has a 5-3 record in all matches he has performed in.

The Gonzaga men's tennis team continue their slate of fall tournaments on Thursday, October 6th when they host the ITA North Regionals at the Stevens Center. The tournament will run through Sunday, October 9th, and a live stream of the competition can be found at GoZags.com.
