DEXTER LAKE, Ore. – The Zags traveled to Oregon to compete in eight races in the Dexter Lake Invite. The field included OSU, USC, UCLA, Minnesota, UCF, Wisconsin, and LMU.
 
In the 1V8 race, the Zags took fourth with a time of 6:36.1 behind USC in first at 6:24.2, OSU in second at 6:27.1, and UCLA in third at 6:30.3. Behind Gonzaga in fifth was Minnesota at 6:37.1, Wisconsin in sixth at 6:39.9, LMU in seventh at 6:44.3 and UCF in eight at 6:44.6.
 
The Zags placed sixth in the 2V8 race with a time of 6:49.2. Ahead of them was first place USC at 6:35.3, second place UCLA at 6:35.9, third place OSU at 6:36.5, fourth place Wisconsin at 6:38.5 and fifth place UCF at 6:48.1. Taking seventh and eight behind Gonzaga was Minnesota at 6:58.4 and LMU at 7:00.6.
 
GU took fourth in the first 3V8 race of the day with a time of 7:30.5. In first place was UCLA with a time of 6:46.3. USC took second at 6:47.7 and OSU took third with a time of 7:09.7.
 
In the first 1V4 race, the Zags took third at 7:35.3 behind first place OSU at 7:22.5 and second place USD at 7:28.1. Following behind in fourth was UCLA at 7:36.6, Wisconsin in 5^th at 7:37.2, UCF in. sixth at 7:39.9, LMU in seventh at 7:59.0 and Minnesota in eighth place finishing at 8:05.5.
 
In the first 2V4+ race, the Zags' first boat took second at 7:51.1 while OSU took first at 7:40.0. in third was UCF at 7:53.5, Minnesota in fourth at 7:54.5, and Gonzaga's B boat in fifth at 8:12.4.
 
The Zags took fourth in the second 1V8 race of the day with a time of 7:06.6. In first was OSU at 6:52.7, in second UCLA at 6:55.8, and third USC at 6:59.3. In fifth behind the Zags was Minnesota at 7:07.6, Wisconsin in sixth at 7:12.2, UCF in seventh at 7:14.9 and in eight and last LMU at 7:29.1.
 
In the second 2V8 race of the day GU placed sixth at 7:22.0. OSU was in first at 7:01.5, USC took second at 7:06.6, UCLA took third at 7:11.9, Wisconsin took fourth at 7:13.4 and Minnesota came in fifth at 7:20.0. UCF came behind Gonzaga in seventh at 7:27.5 and LMU took eighth place at 7:36.1.
 
The 3V8 race ended with the Zags in fourth with a time of 8:01.3. USC came in first at 7:17.0, UCLA in second at 7:19.2, and OSU in third at 7:28.1.
 
GU took fourth in the second 1V4 race of the day at 8:01.2 while USC came first at 7:47.9, OSU came second at 7:55.0 and UCLA came third at 8:00.1.  Behind the Zags in fifth place was UCF at 8:01.6, Wisconsin in sixth at 8:07.0, LMU in seventh at 8:23.6 and Minnesota in eight at 8:26.4.
 
Finally, the Zags took third in the second 2V4+ race with a time of 8:24.9. OSU took first with a time of 8:04.3 and UCF took second with a time of 8:17.8. In fourth was Minnesota at 8:29.9 and Gonzaga's second boat came in fifth at 8:52.1.
 
Up Next: The 4V8 and 5V8 boats travel to Seattle, Washington to compete in the Windermere Cup on May 6^th. The full team will compete next at the WCC Championships on May 13.
