SEATTLE, Wash. – The Gonzaga men's tennis team concluded competition today at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships.
Jay Fairclough and Giovanni Branchetti dropped their doubles semifinals match 6-4, 6-2 to Stanford on Monday, snapping the duo's eight-match winning streak, which began at last month's Aggie Invitational.
Through five games on Monday, the Gonzaga duo held a 4-1 edge, however, Stanford battled back to take the first set. The Cardinal pairing also won the second frame.
Up next: The Bulldogs will travel to Colorado for the Denver Hidden Duel, which starts Nov. 1.
