Gonzaga University- 2 year varsity letter winner and 1 year captain…competed at the West Coast Conference Cross Country Championships as a freshman and sophomore where he placed 44^th on both occasions…ran his fastest 8k XC time as a senior when he ran 25:44 at the 2010 Sundodger Invitational at Lincoln Park in Seattle, WA…had his most successful track and field seasons as a junior in 2010 where he ran his indoor 3000m and his outdoor 1500m, 5000m, and 10000m PR’s…indoors he ran one race at the UW Last Chance Qualifier where he ran his PR of 9:05.65…outdoors he ran his 1500m PR of 4:15.96 at the UW Ken Shannon Invitational, his 5000m PR of 15:54.61 at the Duane Harman Invitational, and his 10000m PR of 33:13.55 at the Whitworth Buc Scoring Invitational…as a senior he ran 15:54.84 to match his PR in the 5000 meters

High School- Lettered three years in cross country and one in track at Jesuit High School for Coach Tom Rothenberger ...senior season team finished second in Oregon State 6A Cross Country Championship, two points out of first...junior year team finished third in Oregon State 4A meet...voted Most Inspirational as a senior…3.7 high school GPA... National Honor Society and National Merit Commended Student...brother, Eric, ran cross country at Gonzaga, graduating in 2005.
