DENVER, Colo. – Earlier this afternoon, the Gonzaga men's tennis team continued their fall tournament schedule by performing in the Denver Hidden Duel. This marks the first time in program history that the Zags have participated in the Denver Hidden Duel.
In the doubles competition, Gonzaga's Matthew Hollingworth and Pablo Gomez Galvan defeated Air Force's Nick Vroman and Kyle Garner by a score of 7-6 on court one. Shortly after, Gonzaga's Gus Krauel and Tom Dunlop battled, but lost 6-4 to Air Force's Jack Brown and Arjun Kersten in the No. 2 spot.
The Zags picked up an early win in the single competition, as Hollingworth clinched a 6-3, 6-4 victory against Kersten on court one. In the No. 4 spot, Krauel lost to Air Force's Phillip Deaton by a score of 6-2, 7-6. Dunlop also battled, falling 7-5, 7-6 to Air Force's AJ Moore on court three. In the final match of the day, Galvan earned a 7-6, 6-2 court two win over Vroman.
