TULSA, Okla. --  Gonzaga's Sasha Trkulja and Matthew Hollingworth performed in a doubles match in the Consolation bracket of the ITA All-Americans earlier today. This is the eighth doubles match the pair have played this fall.

Competing against Erik Grevelius and Alvin Tudorica from South Florida, Trkulja and Hollingworth lost by a score of 6-3, 6-2. Entering the 2023-24 season, Grevelius and Tudorica are currently ranked #24 in the nation for doubles.

Even with today's loss, Hollingworth and Trkulja have opened the season strong, earning a 6-2 record in tournament doubles matches this season.

The Zags have a quick turnaround, as they are scheduled to perform in the ITA North Regionals in Seattle, Washington, on October 6th. This is the third consecutive season the Zags will participate in the ITA North Regionals.
