  • The Vandals are 1-1 on the young season, beating Whitman 7-0 and losing to Portland 6-1 last weekend...Idaho won both doubles points last weekend, and the pairs of Mark Kovacs/Carlos Longhi Neto and Estban Santibanez/Lucas Coutinho are 2-0 on the year...they play No. 1 and 2 doubles, respectively...the six players who played in singles play last weekend are each 1-1 after winning at Whitman and losing at Portland.

MEMORIES OF MATCHES PAST:

  • GU and UI also met twice during the fall season, both taking part in the EWU Fall Classic and the Zags' own Bulldog Classic...in singles play, the Zags went 6-1, topped by Ruadhan O'Sullivan's 2-0 record with two-set victories over Mark Kovacs and Esteban Santibanez...Vincent Rettke also won two matches, and Kyle Everly and Simon Homedes Dualde each won their lone contest against opposition from Idaho.
  • In doubles play, Gonzaga went 1-2...Rettke and Everly combined beat Santibanez and Lucas Coutinho in a tiebreak at the Bulldog Classic.
