FOND MEMORIES OF HOME:

• The Zags capped off a 4-1 homestand late last week with wins over Radford and Air Force...against Radford, GU won the doubles point at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles before Sam Feit started singles with a win...Kyle Everly clinched the dual on court six...on Friday against Air Force, all three doubles pairs won and the Zags won the dual's first six points...Feit again was the first singles player to finish, and Emilio Moreno picked up the clincher on court five.

HOW DID YOU SPEND YOUR SPRING BREAK?:

• he Bulldogs are using the week off from class to play three outdoor matches in Southern California...they've played their first foe, UC Riverside, nine times since 2000 with the Zags winning the last three...that last matchup took place March 14, 2013 in Riverside...GU won 6-1, taking the doubles point and then winning five singles contests...no current Zags were on that team...UCR is 6-8 on the year with no common opponents with Gonzaga.
• UCSB has won the only two matchups between the Zags and Gauchos in recent memory...the last dual took place in Santa Barbara over Spring Break in 2015...the Bulldogs won the doubles point with wins of 7-5 and 7-6, but UCSB won all six singles contests for a 6-1 lead...no current Bulldog was on the team for that match, either...the Gauchos are 7-4 on the season...there are no common foes yet, but UCSB does have wins over West Coast Conference opponents Pacific, San Francisco, and Loyola Marymount.
• Gonzaga will be looking for the program's first win over UC Irvine as the Anteaters have won all seven matches since 2005...the two teams played each other last season with UCI winning 4-1...Ruadhan O'Sullivan picked up the Zags' only point with a two-set win over Luca Marquad, but Emilio Moreno had forced a third set when the Anteaters clinched the dual...UC Irvine is 5-7 on the year...there's one common opponent between GU and UCI: both teams lost to Utah State earlier in the year...UCI has also lost to WCC foes Pepperdine and San Diego.

GOING LONG:

• The Bulldogs have seen plenty of extra tennis this season, and the last two matches were no exception...Gonzaga went 2-1 in three-set matches, and four sets were decided by a tiebreak...they're now 26-17 in three-set matches this season, and every Zag has at least one three-set victory after Emilio Moreno's comeback versus Radford...Vincent Rettke leads the team with eight wins in 10 three-setters.
• Gonzaga is 12-17 in set tiebreakers, but have won 20 sets by 7-5 scorelines.
